Dr. Dalvir S. Pannu

Dr. Dalvir S. Pannu has been a practicing dentist since 1995. In 1996 he opened his first dental practice in India, where he gained invaluable experience and acumen. In October of 1997 he was invited by the American Dental Association (ADA) to present the table clinic on Endodontics, at their annual session held in Washington, D.C. At this time he fell in love with the United States and became passionate about practicing dentistry in California. He became particularly enamored of the San Francisco Bay area, and soon took up residence and work here.

Dr. Pannu spent several more years gaining superlative expertise as a dentist. And also came to learn and provide advanced techniques and treatment in Invisalign Orthodontics. So, ever passionate for new horizons, in 2003 he founded the Pannu Dental Care in San Jose, California. Not surprisingly, the clinic achieved instant success as well as a tremendous retinue of patients, admirers and professional interests. So the good doctor was inspired to open additional offices in 2004 and 2006, in Fremont and Cupertino, California.

Continuing his interest in cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Pannu in a short time gained the vast experience in latest innovation in orthodontics: INVISALIGN invisible braces. He also acquired special training in IMPLANT SURGERY. And became one of a handful of prestigious doctors in the region who performs and provides both components of implantation. These two key components are: placement surgery of implants, and restorative surgery that consists of refurbishing implants with crowns.

An avid hiker and runner, Dr. Pannu also loves playing volleyball and chess. He is happily married to Ravneet Pannu, a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) and former RN with Kaiser Permanente, who is now the business manager at the PANNU DENTAL CARE. The good doctor is also the proud parent of two lovely children: Jay, age seven; and Jasmine, age five.

Dr. Pannu has many concerns and passions in life. Besides being a loving husband and devoted father and serving family and friends, he is deeply committed to his dental practice as well as to helping others. And giving back to the community whenever and however he can. Of course, being a laid-back, congenial kind of guy, Dr. Pannu is also a techno junkie at times. All three of his dental offices are filled with state-of-the-art equipment and gadgets. And while it's not quite sci-fi material, it definitely well beyond ordinary image screens, power computers, diagnostic cameras and digital x-ray machines.

Having the best that modern dentistry can provide is a great thing, he says. That way he can always offer the best to every patient he is privileged to treat and make smile!

Dr. Pooja Goel, D.D.S. (Dentist – San Jose and Cupertino Office)

Dr. Pooja Goel has been practicing cosmetic dentistry for nearly five years and is one of the most familiar faces at Pannu Dental. She has been happily with the practice since Dr. Pannu opened in 2003. And has played a key role in Pannu Dental’s success. In dental school, Dr. Pooja excelled as a student and graduated as a Gold Medalist. In addition to being a member of the ADA, CDA and SCDS, Dr. Goel is certified with Invisalign and Lumineers. She has fun working with patients of all ages, and shows great care and understanding when treating and interacting with them. Her skills are nonpareil when it comes to performing root canals, extractions, and cosmetic work.

Dr. Brian Yee, D.D.S. ( Dentist- San Jose office)

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Brian graduated with a dental degree from the University of California at San Francisco in the year 2000. He is committed to bring comfortable, knowledgeable, quality patient care. Outside the office, he enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, and traveling anywhere tropical.

Dr. Valerie Tran, D.D.S. (Associate Dentist)

Dr. Valerie Tran graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, and practiced her vocation several years in New York before joining PANNU DENTAL CARE. She is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, and is a board certified Invisalign dental practitioner. Dr. Tran has also receive exceptional training in general and special patient care, pediatric outreach, and as a volunteer for Special Olympics dental screening.

She says her mother is her number one hero. And intones that she loves most of all, a sunny day with a little breeze, spend quality time with family, friends, and listen to music. Some of her interests include reading, hiking, biking, singing, sketching and playing with children. She is truly an invaluable member of PANNU DENTAL CARE, and a friend to all.

Sanaz Mojtabavi (Office Manager) Sanaz brings a deep understanding of dentistry as an office manager at Pannu Dental. She sincerely enjoys interacting with patients on a daily basis and contributes to the practice with her talent, charm, enthusiasm, and energy. She has a bachelor’s degree in French Translation and manages of the offices  very efficiently.  Sanaz spends her time shopping, traveling, and being with family. 

Reet Mann (Receptionist/Account Specialist) Reet Mann represents one of the building blocks of PANNU DENTAL CARE. She has been contributing her outstanding services to us for over 5 years. And continues to demonstrate her exceptional skills in account management and dental insurance services. Reet also possesses a dental x-ray license. And remains a dedicated member of our office staff, and a person who always aims high and achieves the best she can. Her leadership skills along with her helping nature have made PANNU DENTAL CARE one of the most respected and successful dental offices in the Bay area.

Erika Lopez (Dental Assistant - Fremont and San Jose Office) Erika Lopez represents our dental team with unbeaten confidence and vigor. She is a neat and well-organized dental assistant who performs tasks with complete enthusiasm and dedication. Erika is a board-certified dental assistant who has been serving the dental profession for more than five years. She is bilingual, and speaks both English and Spanish.


Gurpreet Kaur (Treatment Coordinator - San Jose Office)Born in Jalandhar, Punjab, Gurpreet Kaur moved to the U.S. when she was 11 years old. She has always been a smart young girl and graduated from high school at the tender age of 15. She currently has a Bachelor of Science degree in System Physiology from San Jose State University. And was recently accepted to attend the dental hygiene program at Western Career College. In her free time, Gurpreet likes to watch movies, listen to music and collect playing cards. She has been an integral part of PANNU DENTAL CARE for the past two years as a treatment coordinator. And we look forward to seeing her graduate from dental hygiene  school in 2008.

Rowena Vistacion (Insurance Coordinator - San Jose Office) Rowena may have a shy personality. But that does not reflect on her demeanor when it comes to work and life. Always the adventurous type, Rowena has lived in various parts of the world, including the Philippines and Hawaii. And has pursued studies to become a  pharmacist. Currently settled in the dental profession, Rowena has attained two years experience as a dental receptionist and insurance coordinator. Outside of her work life, Rowena loves spending time with her husband and two kids, whether they are shopping at the mall, or skiing in Lake Tahoe.

Lesli Pineda (Account Receivables Manager - San Jose Office) Originally from the exotic country of Guatemala , Lesli arrived in the U.S. at the age of 13. Ambitious from the start, she excelled in school and graduated from Santa Clara High School. She is currently attending San Jose State University for higher studies. As a member of PANNU DENTAL CARE, she deftly manages all accounts, making certain the office is operating smoothly. When she isn’t hard at work, Lesli likes to unwind by watching movies, shopping and exercising.

Hillary Ho (Orthodontic Assistant - San Jose Office)Born in Vietnam , Hillary moved to the United States in 1990. She is an alumni of Mission College. With 12 years assisting experience under her belt, Hillary brings a deep understanding of all areas of the dental field, though her expertise is orthodontics. After working with PANNU DENTAL CARE for a year, she had already proved herself to be a valuable asset to the office. She is very energetic, and credits it to regularly exercising and cooking and eating healthy food.

Jessica Rossi (Dental Assistant - San Jose Office) Born and raised in San Jose , CA , Jessica graduated from Pioneer High School and has a dental certificate from CCOC. She has been working with PANNU DENTAL CARE for approximately a year, and in that time has established herself as a hard worker. Jessica’s warm personality is endearing to coworkers as well as to patients. And she aspires to further her career in the dental field. Outside of work, Jessica spends most of her time taking care of her adorable son. And when time permits, she likes to play basketball.

Saran Banga (Chart Coordinator - San Jose Office)Saran (pronounced Sharan) is the baby of the Pannu Dental family. She is currently attending Evergreen Valley High School and looking forward to attending a four year university to pursue a career in criminal justice. She has already proven that she is a quick learner, and has been a valuable asset to the office. In line with her vibrant personality, Saran also leads a vibrant life. When she is not shopping or eating, you can find her dancing with her bhangra team at various events.
